Corrections Policy

Our Commitment

EskiSignal is committed to factual accuracy. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and transparently.

How to Report an Error

If you believe an EskiSignal article contains a factual error, a sourcing problem, or outdated information:

  1. Go to our Contact page
  2. Use subject line: Correction — [article title or URL]
  3. Describe the specific error and, if possible, link to a primary source that contradicts or updates the claim

We review every correction request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

What Gets Corrected

  • Factual errors: Wrong dates, figures, prices, or data points — corrected immediately upon verification
  • Source errors: Misattribution or incorrect source citation — corrected and re-linked
  • Outdated information: Data or events that have materially changed — updated with a timestamp note
  • Unclear language: Wording that could be misread as financial advice — revised and noted

How Corrections Are Displayed

When a significant correction is made to a published article:

  • The “Last updated” timestamp is updated
  • A correction note is added at the top or bottom of the article identifying what changed and when
  • The original incorrect statement is not silently deleted — the correction note explains what it said and why it was changed

Minor corrections (typos, formatting) that do not affect factual meaning may be made without a correction note.

What We Do Not Correct

  • Editorial framing or angle (how a story is presented, which aspects are emphasized) — these are editorial decisions, not factual errors
  • Differences of interpretation between analysts or data providers where multiple credible readings exist
  • Requests to remove accurate information that a reader finds unfavorable
